ITINERARY
DAY 1 - CITY OF ORIGEN / BOGOTÁ: Arrival in the city of Bogotá, the multicultural capital of Colombia. One of our representatives will be waiting for you to head to the vehicle unit that will take you from the International Airport “El Dorado” to the chosen hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Accommodation.
Notes: For departure transfers the night time applies for flights between 23:00 and 09:00, and for arrivals between 21:00 and 06:30. The rates are included for day-to-day transfers, if at night a supplement is applied.
DAY 2 - BOGOTÁ (City visit with Monserrate): Breakfast at the hotel. Then one of our representatives will pick you up at your hotel to get out to the historic center of Bogotá, where you start a pedestrian tour of the Plaza de Bolívar and the nearby streets where you see buildings such as the National Capitol, the center of the legislative life of the country; The House of the Communers; the House of Nariño, the seat of the Presidency of the Republic; and a panoramic visit to the Church Museum of Santa Clara. You will enter the Golden Museum, where there are about 34,000 pieces of woodwork from various pre-Hispanic cultures. The route continues from the 2.600 meters above the sea level of the city to the 3.152 meters, there is the sanctuary where the image of the fallen Lord of Monserrate is worshipped. From there you can enjoy the best view of Bogotá. Return to the hotel and accommodation.
Notes:
● The Gold Museum is closed every Monday, so visit the Botero Museum and the Casa de la Moneda Museum.
● On Sundays the tour with ascension to Monserrate operates subject to availability and on request.

Operation: The regular service operates from Monday to Saturday about 08:00 hours approximately, for the private service it can be scheduled at 09:00 hours or 14:00 hours. Private can be scheduled at 09:00 or 14:00.
DAY 3 - BOGOTÁ (Visit to the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral): Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time one of our representatives will contact you at your hotel to start a tour of the savannah of Bogotá to reach Zipaquirá, whose name means ‘city of our Father’ in Chibcha language. In pre-Columbian times, salt springs were exploited in this region to produce ‘salt bread’, a strong currency with which the muiscas traded. Over time, technology changed and sewers began to open to extract greater amounts of salt. In these ancient underground galleries is erected the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, 180 meters below the surface. There is a small chapel of the miners in honour of the Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá (this word means ‘mine’ in chibcha). At the end of the visit he returned to Bogotá, to the hotel and accommodation.
Notes: A visit to the Salt Cathedral is not recommended for passengers with claustrophobia or mobility problems.

DAY 4 - BOGOTÁ / PEREIRA (CAFETERA ZONA): Breakfast. At the specified time transfer to El Dorado airport in Bogotá to take a flight to the city of Pereira (Air ticket not included). Arrival at the airport of Matecaña de Pereira, reception and transfer to the chosen hotel in the Cafetera Zone. Check-in and accommodation.

DAY 5 - CAFETERA ZONA (Coffee process in “Finca del Café”): Breakfast, at the hotel. At the appointed time transfer to “La Finca del Café” to begin a visit where we will learn about the Process of Coffee in the company of a local expert, taking us through beautiful special coffee plantations, explaining how the process of coffee from the sowing, selective manual harvesting and polishing. Later, we will roast special coffee beans in a wood stove in the kitchen of the typical peasant house where we can have an authentic coffee-making experience. On the tour there are several stations with viewpoints made of guaduceum where we can appreciate the beautiful landscape and natural environment of the place while enjoying a cup of coffee. Finally, we move on to the innovative process of drying the coffee bean, the beneficiary, and then we go to the main house where they will say goodbye to us with a delicious lemonade of coffee. Transfer to the hotel, rest of the day free and accommodation.

DAY 6 - CAFETERA ZONA (Valle del Cocora and Salento): Breakfast. At the agreed time transfer to the Cocora Valley, on arrival you will delight with a typical drink (canelazo), there an echo guide will tell you about the place and will take you walking to the fog forest where we can appreciate the biodiversity of fauna and flora of the place where we will take the ecological path of the tallest wax palm in the world and national flagship tree where we do the ritual of the Wax palm of the Fifth, which consists in knowing the story of how the Aborigines worshiped this palm. Then continue with planting of palm seedlings. Transfer to the typical village of Salento where we will have walking tour visiting its colonial streets, craft workshops and the Mirador de Cócora. Typical lunch and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
It includes: transportation, environmental guidance and interpretation, welcome snack, regular ecological walk, wax palm ritual and introduction to the destination by local eco-guide, hydration, snacks and typical lunch with entry, strong dish and drink.
Duration: 6 hours of activity plus transfer time depending on your location.
Notes: Because this destination has a large influx of local and foreign visitors on Sundays and Monday holidays, we recommend booking this tour on different days for a better experience, this also applies for Holy Week, end and beginning of year.
DAY 7 – PEREIRA (CAFETERA ZONA) / CARTAGENA: Breakfast. At the specified time transfer to Pereira airport to take a flight to Cartagena (Air ticket not included). Arrival in Cartagena city also known as the stone corralito, reception and transfer from the Rafael Núñez Airport of cartagena to the chosen hotel. Check-in and accommodation.

DAY 8 - CARTAGENA (City visit with San Felipe Castle): At the agreed time I meet in the lobby of the hotel with one of our representatives to start a wonderful tour of this city Museum whose streets and surroundings show the charm of its architecture that mixes colonial, republican and modern. During the tour you will pass through the modern area of Bocagrande continuing through the neighborhood of Manga where the contrast between the republican architecture and its modern buildings will surprise you, then you will visit the emblematic Castle of San Felipe de Barajas, built in 1657 and of course, it will be necessary to make a short walk through “the historical center of the city” that in 1984 together with the Castillo de San Felipe and the set of fortifications were included by UNESCO in the list of World Heritage Sites. To conclude the tour and before returning to your hotel, taking advantage of your stay in the country that produces the highest quality emeralds in the world, you will visit the Museum of the Emerald, where you will learn about the evolution of the most scarce, most valuable and, in turn, the most exclusive mineral of the world.

DAY 9 - CARTAGENA (Beach Day): Breakfast. Departure from Muelle la Bodeguita by speedboat to the island included, there you can enjoy coral beaches and variety of reef fauna, ideal for rest or take some optional activity such as diving, snorkeling, hiking, among others. Below you will find the details of each island:
1. San Pedro de Majagua: located on Isla Grande 45km from the city of Cartagena, it is one of the 31 islands that make up the Rosario National Natural Park; after an hour of crossing on a fast boat you will reach the east
magical place of rest and relaxation offering two accesses to the sea, one a little quieter and noisy than the other according to your preference; being in place you can take optional activities such as massages
relaxation, hiking, mangrove tours, visiting the Aquarium, diving, snorkeling, among others.
Includes: transfer hotel-muelle-hotel, shared shuttle transfer (non-exclusive), welcome cocktail, lunch (entry, fort, non-alcoholic beverage and dessert) and toll
Does not include: optional activities, unmentioned consumptions.
Operation: Every day except 1 January of each year.

Notes: Passengers must show up at the La Bodeguita bridge at 08:30 hrs at the door # 3 to carry out the approaching registration protocol, the usual return from the Island to Cartagena is at 15:00 Hrs (depending on the weather conditions, the departure may vary from 14:30 p.m. approximately.
Restrictions: Tour not suitable for boat movements for pregnant women or people with spinal disorders or surgeries. Drunk people or pets are not allowed to access the boats.
2. Island of Charm: In the Rosary Islands National Park, located approximately 45 minutes by boat from Cartagena, you can enjoy the beach and social spaces intended for Day tour visitors
They are equipped with chairs, armchairs and sunbeds; of course you can do optional activities if you want to, or simply enjoy the Colombian Caribbean Sea in this area. During the promenade you will enjoy a typical semi-buffet lunch served with options of fish, chicken and meat.

DAY 10 - CARTAGENA / CITY OF ORIGIN: Breakfast. Last day of the trip before returning home make sure to bring the best memories. At the specified time transfer from the hotel to Cartagena airport to take a flight to your home city.
