DAY 01 - SAN JOSÉ
Transfer from San José Airport to Hotels in San José
Welcome to San Jose, Costa Rica. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Once in the capital, you can visit the theaters, museums and beautiful parks or just enjoy a cup of Costa Rican coffee while watching the daily life of the "Ticos".

DAY 02 - SAN JOSÉ / PUERTO VIEJO
Private transfer from San Jose to Puerto Viejo or delivery of rented car in the morning at your hotel.
Transfer to the South Caribbean, place to visit the different beaches that surround it. Highlights include the coral reefs of Playa Cahuita, in addition to the beaches of multicolored sands (from black, yellow and gray), coastal vegetation and forests of medium height. Don't forget to interact with the locals and learn a little about their customs and traditions. Also, we invite you to try the Patí or the Rice & Beans that will leave you with a Caribbean flavor to remember.
Faith Glamping
Faith Glamping is located in front of the sea in Playa Grande. The property is composed of 5 geodesic dome units (those used by NASA). It is designed so that the contact with nature is at another level, both with the flora, as well as with the local animals, surrounded by tropical jungle and lulled by the waves of the Caribbean Sea. The domes are equipped with queen size beds, air conditioning for maximum comfort, and a small living room. Breakfast is included as well as internet access.

DAY 03 - PUERTO VIEJO

Jaguar Rescue Center
The Jaguar Rescue Center, managed by the Ceiba Primary Forest Foundation, is an organization that rescues and rehabilitates wild animals with the objective of releasing them and returning them to protected areas. During 2020 alone, for example, we received 803 animals, of which 363 were released, 123 remained in rehabilitation and 317 could not survive. Approximately 50% are mammals and the rest birds and reptiles. During your visit to the JRC Sanctuary you will discover different kinds of wild animals such as monkeys, sloths, wild cats, raccoons, reptiles, as well as different types of birds. You will also be able to observe many of Costa Rica's venomous snake species. The amount of the donation for your visit will be invested entirely in our animals.

DAY 04 - PUERTO VIEJO

DAY 05 - PUERTO VIEJO / POAS VOLCANO
Private transfer from Puerto Viejo to Poas Volcano.
Transfer to Poas, here you will find the Poas Volcano National Park, which has one of the largest craters in the world and is located in the mountainous forests of the Central Volcanic Cordillera. Along the way you will see agricultural plantations such as pineapple and tubers, among others, until you start the ascent through the rainforest. On the way you will be surrounded by beautiful landscapes and views that will make your route a very pleasant trip and will accompany you to your hotel, located right on the slopes of the Poas Volcano.

DAY 06 - PUERTO VIEJO / SANTA TERESA

DAY 07 - SANTA TERESA
Bioluminescence Tour
This incomparable boat adventure will show you the enchantment of the nocturnal landscape and its fauna. It includes the search for bioluminescence, a phenomenon of natural magic where the waters glow with a starry sky effect. Visibility depends on external factors such as light, wind, moon and tides.

DAY 08 - SANTA TERESA
Trópico Latino
Trópico Latino is a luxury hotel and a great lodging choice for travelers visiting Santa Teresa. DAY 09 - SANTA TERESA

DAY 10 - SANTA TERESA
Waterfall Hike
A journey through trails and forest to reach the 3 most beautiful waterfalls of the Nicoya Peninsula, you can cool off in its waters and take pictures, this is an adventure hike.
DAY 11 - SANTA TERESA / SAN JOSÉ
Private transfer from Manuel Antonio to San Jose or return of vehicle at the Rental Car Office.
Departure in the morning to the capital of San Jose, until arriving at the International Airport for check-in and international flight to take you back home. If your choice was a car, return the car at the rent a car offices near the airport and shared transfer to the Air Terminal.
Requirements for renting a vehicle (in the case of using transfers, this must be omitted):
- Valid driver's license. The foreign license is valid in Costa Rica for 90 days from the date of entry to the country.
- Minimum age of the driver is 23 years old
- The driver must have a valid driver's license from the country of origin.
- The driver must present a valid passport
- The driver must present original credit card (AMEX, VISA, MASTER CARD) available for the security deposit (approximately $500.00).
What to bring to Costa Rica?
- Passport with at least 6 months validity.
- Sunscreen and insect repellent
- Comfortable t-shirts and pants.
- Footwear: light waterproof hiking boots, river sandals (Teva type sandals), a pair of tennis shoes.
- If traveling to Tortuguero during turtle nesting season (June-September), bring dark pants & shirts and closed-toe shoes.
- Rain gear: poncho, raincoat and umbrella.
- Hat, visor, cap and sunglasses for sun protection.
- Reusable water bottle for hiking.
- Charger for electronic devices and American style adapter.
- Medications.
- Small backpack for hiking.
